Though they fell short, the freshman football team had several impactful plays in the game against Hendrickson on Thursday, Sept. 9. Running back Ryan Lindley ‘20 made countless amazing runs and catches. Linebacker Ciondre Sterling ‘20 made many crucial tackles. Towards the end of the game, wide receiver Nathan Potter ‘20 caught an incredible 32-yard pass from Connor Cooper ’20, just coming up short of a touchdown. Although the final score was 0-42 in favor of Hendrickson, the Warriors worked hard as a team until the very end.

“I felt that we could’ve done a better job, but I thought some players played very, very well,” defensive back Joseph Kubelka ‘20 said.

The freshmen play their next game at McNeil High School against the Mavericks on Wednesday, Oct. 5.
