TAFE to Hold 3rd Annual Prom Fashion Show
On Thursday, Feb. 8, from 7-9 p.m., students and parents are welcome to come enjoy Westwood’s 3rd Annual Prom Fashion Show in the Cafetorium.
This year, the event is a fundraiser for TAFE (Texas Association of Future Educators) organization to help raise money and lower their costs for their state competition coming up. The rest of the money raised will go towards Teacher Appreciation Week in May.
This event is being organized by the Fashion Design 2 students who will take over the theme and decorations, as well as the scheduling during the show. The show’s purpose is for juniors and deniors to come together and have fun, while getting dressed up, as well as getting their hair and makeup done (all for free). The show may also help inspire students for their own prom outfits, as dress/tux shop options will be advertised.
Tickets are available for purchase for $5.
