The McDonald’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Chicago will feature the Westwood SunDancers this year for the first time. The parade is from 8 to 11 a.m. CST on Thanksgiving Day and will be on Channel 21 (WGN) for Time Warner Cable subscribers. The SunDancers will be dancing as toy soldiers with the dancing group Coast2Coast, and have been training for the past week in the cafeteria every morning and for multiple afternoons. The SunDancers will leave for Chicago on Nov. 23 and come back home on Nov. 27 after performing.
