Debaters Find Success at Districts Tournament

From Friday, March 1 to Saturday, March 2, dozens of debaters competed at McNeil High School for the National Speech and Debate (NSDA) district tournament. The competition was an opportunity for the participants to qualify for the NSDA National tournament, which will be taking place in June. As a result of their efforts, Grace Chen ‘20 qualified for nationals in Big Questions Debate, Anurima Mummaneni ‘20 in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking, and Emily Gao ‘19 in Foreign Extemporaneous Speaking.
