Despite the Warriors upsetting 11-0 loss to the Vista Ridge Rangers on Friday, April 4, the JV softball team battled to keep strong and positive throughout the game. Although the Warriors had good pitching and some great outs in the infield, but ultimately, Vista Ridge remained dominant on both sides of the ball.
After their hard fought victory against Vandergrift last week, the lady warriors had a good mindset coming into this game, looking to continue their streak of excellence. However, due to the Rangers catching skills the Warriors could not keep up, hitting the 8-0 mark by the bottom of the fourth. But, through the domination on defense, the Warriors were able to put up their own as Presley Leal ‘27 continued putting up a series of strikeout pitches that kept the Rangers from any simple points.
The Warriors will continue to keep their heads up high against the Hutto Hippos at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 5.
