Choir Wins Big at All-District Competition

A big congratulations to all 44 student who made all-district choir! They will continue on to regional competition end of October. They competed against RRISD, Leander ISD, and many other high schools all the way up to Marble Falls. This was the highest number of students that advanced of all high schools in the region. This is a major accomplishment so be sure to congratulate these singers in the hallway!The following is a list of all the students that advanced:

Orchestra Displays Holiday Spirit at Winter Concert
Delving into Mozart's "Divertimento in F Major", violinists Haruna Kubo '26 and Jianna Chun '26 express their skill and technique while moving with the orchestra. "Divertimento" was the opening piece of the evening, bringing an elegant and sophisticated mood for the audience to enjoy.
Symphony Orchestra and Choir Deliver Breathtaking Performance of Classical Works
Standing beside the Cheshire Cat, Alice (portrayed by Prishaa Vishwakarma '27) asks for advice on how to navigate Wonderland. The Cheshire Cat was represented by a three-part puppet, designed by technician Dominik Brown '26. "I wanted it to be scary, because in most media he has that creepy smile, and I wanted that but kind of like an angler fish," Brown said.

Hey! My name is Shefali Arimilli and I am the Managing Editor of the Heritage. This is my third  year on staff and fourth year in journalism (jerds are amazing!). I’ve been on varsity tennis for four years now, and love it. If I’m not studying or playing tennis, I’m hanging out with friends and family, listening to music, dancing, or eating. My favorite movies are Pitch Perfect and The Blind Side. I love traveling and hope to go to Australia and New Zealand this year!
