After only a few months of playing together, the JV volleyball team has won six games and lost only one.

“They’ve come a long way from the beginning of the season to get the motions and to click,” Coach Ochoa said. “[The best part] is probably seeing them have fun, playing as a team, actually being aggressive.”

On Oct. 9, the Lady Warriors played McNeil High School and won in less than an hour. The first game ended 13 to 25 and the second game with 20 to 25. But the winning isn’t what everyone is most excited about.

“[The best part] is whenever people get really good kills,” Emily Low ‘18 said. She explained a kill to be an attack or spike.

“Same thing,” Cassandra Jackson ‘18 said. “We work really well together.”
