Theater Presents ‘Seven Wives for Dracula’

Come out and support the Theater program at their premiere of Seven Wives for Dracula, a comedic play about Dracula’s deceitful character who visits an insane asylum and tricks many women into falling in love with him. The characters reactions and interactions create a humorous show that is definitely one worth seeing.
The show runs at 7:00 PM in the Black Box from Wednesday, Oct. 28 to Friday, Oct. 30 in the New Black Box. Tickets are $5 each. The play tends to last for about an hour but does not have a specific ending time. Space is limited so be sure to arrive early to get prime seating!

On Monday, Nov. 18, 43 Westwood Students auditioned for the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Region 26 full orchestra. Out of the students who auditioned, 16 made the orchestra.
Band Students Dominate at TMEA Region Orchestra Auditions
Tossing their flags in unison, members of the Color Guard stand with the band as they line up in their company front. During a company front, the whole band forms a line and marches side by side across the field.
Band Concludes Season With 'Timeless' Performance
Arms outstretched, the tenor and bass sections of the choir perform "Bonk' Abaphandle," the final piece performed exclusively by Westwood singers. The song's theme of welcoming was designed to serve as a welcome to "The Tribe" for younger learning communities.

Gazing into a magic eight ball, seniors Connor Wormington and Vince Pham participate in the fortune teller station set up in the Black Box. Aside from the haunted house, officers also planned stations to be happening concurrently so everyone would stay entertained.
