“[I’m] Russian, that explains a lot, also weird. I laugh a lot at stupid stuff, and people think it’s weird, but that’s me. I moved to the United States to this school just for getting this American education so that I will have more opportunities in my life. When I first came here, I was new, Russian, and worried that I probably wouldn’t see my friends. Sometimes I’m really nervous, and I don’t believe in myself that hard. I want to be more confident.”

“I participate in dance. I am in drill prep now, but I really like it. I also go to gym out of school. My favorite class in Westwood is dance and audio and video production; that’s my hobbies and what I like to do. But I also love all my classes, and especially English. I really want to be better at English, because I can understand, I can read, I have Pre-AP classes. Like my speech, I have a lot of mistakes and words I can’t pronounce. And also having my grades to be more than 90s. I’m working on that.”
