Mahogany Wright ’23 fearlessly dives for the ball in order to give it back to the Lady Warriors. She ended up on the floor with a rival Maverick standing over her trying to get the ball back, wright was able to successfully get the ball to her team. “I was in the moment I saw the ball and knew I wanted nobody to get the ball except me,” Wright said.

Desi Davalos ’22 leaps into the air in hopes to bring the lady warriors up two points. Davalos was unable to make the ball go in but was not discouraged and continued to play her heart out.

Serena Baruah ’21 focuses in after shooting a free throw. The Lady Warriors were allotted a free throw after an enemy Maverick blocked the shot Baruah tried to make and pushed her onto the ground.

Annalise Galliguez ’20 passionately dribbles the ball down court to try and score a basket for the Lady Warriors. She was able to score the very first score of the game, and despite the girls starting strong, they still lost 51-63. “We played our hardest tonight. We had the heart; we needed to win,” Galliguez said. “We just need to finish more plays and make more free throws.”
