Keeping their heads high after a 9-0 loss on Friday, April 4, the varsity softball team took on the Vista Ridge Rangers. While they played hard and kept their heads up, after an unfortunate lapse in defense the Warriors were not able to capitalize on the moments the Rangers gave them.
The girls made great plays and kept their heads held high as they continued to hold Rangers at 3-0 at the end of the second inning. Despite the Warriors best efforts on defense, led by Haley Boling ‘26 and center fielder Emmy King ‘25, the Warriors were not able to stop the Rangers from scoring on home runs. While the Warrior defense held their own for a while, the offense could not as the Rangers defense was just too strong.
The Warriors will take on the Hutto Hippos at 1 .m. on Saturday, April 5.
