Focused, Nina Jovanovic '25 uses scissors to cut through her specimen's muscle layers. The club members found the bird's pectoralis muscles beneath its feathers and skin. "I did not want to pull the feathers off because it just looked like the bird was sleeping, so I felt really bad, but then once we cut it open, it didn’t look like that anymore," Jovanovic said.
