On Saturday, Jan. 21, The Women’s March on Austin will be coming to the downtown Austin area. The march will start at 12 p.m. and end at the Capitol Building (the starting location and ending time are still to be determined).

The Women’s March on Washington has inspired almost 300 sister marches to be held around the world, with the Austin March being one of them. These marches are peaceful, completely inclusive, and welcome anyone who supports not only women’s equality, but all human rights.

The mission and vision of the marches state that, “women’s rights are human rights, regardless of a woman’s race, ethnicity, religion, immigration status, sexual identity, gender expression, economic status, age or disability.”
