The Westwood Spanish Honor Society is requesting the aid of the school faculty, student body, and their friends and families with the 2013 Coats for Kids School Drive and Competition. In an effort to keep children warm this winter, many of whom might otherwise fall prey to the cold, the honor society is collecting gently used or new coats ranging from infant to adult sizes M-XL, and is asking all teachers, students, and other generous souls to donate. Donations may be dropped off at any Alpha Office, including the Freshman and Main Offices, from Monday, November 18 to Friday, December 6. Spanish Honor Society members will take the coats to Jack Brown’s Cleaners for any necessary cleaning and distribute them to Spanish-speaking citizens on Saturday, December 14.
