A Night at the Museum

Prom535This year’s prom will be held on Saturday, April 26 at 8 p.m. at the Bob Bullock Museum with the theme “Casino Night”. This year’s prom court includes Andru Kemp, Sarah Biemer, Vincianne Chen, Sydney Hickerson, Justin Lass, Hailey Stout, Brandon Brown, Ray Lu, Steven Fuller, and Alexis Clark.

Before attending the prom, students must be registered on the guest list and bring a student I.D. or driver’s license as well as their ticket. Students should not bring drugs or alcohol, and must know that they might be asked to submit to a breathalyzer test if they are suspected of being under the influence. Students must be wearing semi-formal to formal wear and cannot wear revealing clothes. Lastly, students may not return to the prom after leaving.

Honestly, I wasnt even photographing it, I was just experiencing it,” Mr. Youn said. “You know, we built it up and the anticipation was incredibly high, but experiencing it was cooler than I anticipated.”

UT representative Patrick Patterson describes the importance of teaching kids to be academically honest from an early age. He was one of three UT representatives speaking at the academic integrity seminar on Thursday, March 22. What you have to do as a community is get together with the administration, Patterson said. Create your own honor code. Involve as many folks and kids and adults, as many as possible. Create that honor code and stick to it.

Hi, I’m Mackenzie Farkus,  Editor-in-Chief 2014-2016. I’m a lifelong bookworm, I love to travel, and I collect vinyl and comics. I’ve lived in Seattle, WA, Atlanta, GA, and a very tiny town in NC. After Westwood, I’ll attend Simmons College in Boston, MA, where I am majoring in Communications.
