About the Contributor
Renee Johns, Photo Editor
Hello, my name is Renee Johns and I’m a photographer for Student Press. I’m a photographer because I have awful grammar and I love cameras. I never believed in love at first sight until I saw a lens. I’m a Canon lover and I’ve named all my camera equipment. Along with taking pictures for press I’m a professional photographer. I work at a shop called Design with Consignment alongside my two best friends, Callie and Jaycie, as well as do photo shoots with friends. I love all photography and recently I’ve done more studio work and nature. I obviously enjoy taking pictures but I do have other interests. I’m a distance runner for track, I horseback ride, I draw, sometimes play piano, and I’m in various clubs. I love The Beatles, animals, and science. I travel a lot, I go on three or four trips a year. I’ve been to almost all the states and about 8 countries and I go to new places every year. I graduate in 2017 and how I will and have survived Westwood is by Netflixing. I’ve been in yearbook for three years and I love it.
