On Feb. 14, the dance department hosted its annual region-wide dance competition, Westwood Dance Classic. Warrior Pride as well as certain members of SunDancers competed in the Junior Varsity, duet, solo, and ensemble categories.

“It was really exciting to see other dancers perform and the entire event was an overwhelmingly fun experience,” Dancer Juhi Dhuka ‘16 said.

The event allowed dancers from various different schools to interact and compete in an exciting environment.

“WDC was, in my opinion, really enjoyable because the whole day was a great team bonding experience as we watched other schools perform and waited for our results,” Dancer Srija Reddy ‘18 said. “I was also really excited when we won because I think it brought the team even closer together.”
