A spirit circle will be held in the cafetorium on the morning of Friday, Nov. 6. In the spirit circle, cheerleaders, SunDancers, and the football team will get together to raise their spirits in preparation for the upcoming game. The spirit circle’s theme is “SunDancer Switch”, where the SunDancers and cheerleaders switch roles. The cheerleaders will do the “Sister Kick” while the SunDancers will cheer them on.

“[Normally] we just watch the spirit circle, we don’t do anything — except for this one,” SunDancers Member Audrey Stevens ‘17 said. “For this one, the officers are gonna be the cheerleaders.”

The spirit circle will be in the cafetorium on Friday morning while the varsity football team will battle the Cedar Ridge football team at the Kelly Reeves Athletic Center.

“I think it’s gonna be really cool because we’ve never gotten to do anything like that, ‘cause this is my first year on varsity, so this is my first year doing the Sister Kick,” cheerleader Veronica Vazquez ‘18 said.
