Freshman Tennis Resumes Connally Tournament
The freshman Westwood tennis team dominated at the Conally Tournament held on Tuesday, March 8 at Conally and Pflugerville High Schools. Due to unfavorable weather and other conditions, however, final games between Westwood teams were not played until this week. After a short break following their last competition, the Warriors returned with a huge success, placing first in almost every event.

1st Place A Boy Singles: Nathan Iyer ‘18
2nd Place A Boy Singles: Max Wolf ‘18
1st Place A Girl Doubles: Pritika Paramasivam ‘18 and Emily Lu ‘18
2nd Place A Girl Doubles: Yutika Raina ‘18 and Satweka Nammi ‘18
1st Place A Boy Doubles: Jake Imperial ‘18 and Mete Bayrak ‘18
1st Place B Boy Singles: Andrei Demkov ‘18
(Note: No B doubles were played at this tournament.)
These matches were great preparation for their upcoming District tournament. JV Districts will be hosted at Westwood and McNeil this year on Wednesday, April 13.
