“When you smile, it’s easier for people to approach you. If you have your head down, even if you’re alone, people hesitate to approach you. Now, I think I’m kind of fitting in socially. Coming here, I realized that there were so many awesome people out there that I should get to know, and that I really needed to do my best for everything.
Unfortunately, I’m still working on the studying. I have to refrain myself a lot from eating more, sleeping more, and kind of blanking out. I’m not sure whether the remaining four years at Westwood is exactly one to look forward to. After all, a junior that I met keeps telling me that she wants to go back to freshman year, and all of the seniors say that school just gets harder each year. Rather than looking forward, I would say that I’m terrified, but I do look forward to all of the school activities and meeting more Westwood warriors.”
