“When I first got the Region music in May, I stared at it in disbelief. It was not the Region music I was used to from middle school. There were notes and techniques I had never seen before and I had second thoughts about doing Region my freshman year, especially after I had heard upperclassmen say that just getting into Region can be difficult and time-consuming. I took up the challenge and it’s amazing on how far you can improve in a couple months. I was scared that I wouldn’t make it, but I was also excited that all my hard work from May will be put to test.”
