On Monday, Jan. 23, the JV boys’ basketball team faced off against the Lake Travis Cavaliers. The Warriors fought hard and kept the score close, but ultimately they fell short by one point with a score of 35-37.
Point guards Patrick Sladek ‘19 and Corey Levinson ‘19 helped the team to execute plays. Mason Flood ‘19 also assisted his team by scoring 10 of the Warriors’ 35 points.
“I think we played really well as a team throughout the game and we played as hard as we could,” Sam Helwig ‘19 said. “I feel as if the score at the end of the game didn’t truly reflect who should have won.”
The Warriors will take on the Hendrickson Hawks in their next home game on Friday, Jan. 27 at 5:30 p.m.. Go Wood.
