Pacesetters held their annual Jazzercise meeting on Wednesday, Jan 11. A Jazzercise instructor came and taught a Jazzercise class to the Pacesetters. The girls dressed up in Jazzercise-themed clothing including neon, legwarmers, windbreakers, and crazy leggings. It is a fun way for the Pacesetters to start off the new year with each other and to go all out.

The annual meeting provides a high energy environment in which the Pacesetters are constantly moving.

“I liked how we could have fun and be active at the same time and it wasn’t super serious,” Raquel Najera ‘17 said. “You could be silly and hang out with your friends and still get in a good workout.”

Although walking into this environment was intimidating at first, the girls soon realized that it was just a fun activity for the Pacesetters girls to bond and let loose.

“It was really fun and I learned a lot of new moves. I enjoyed embracing my inner dancer,” Hailey Eiland ‘17 said.
