Austin Police Department Makes Arrest at Westwood Apartments
On Tuesday, April 10, police cars surrounded the Westwood Apartments around 11 p.m.. Along with the cars, there were also reports of K-9s and a helicopter circling the area. There are currently no news stories on the event or public police reports published online.
After calling the Austin Police Department (APD), law enforcement explained that a juvenile was arrested for evading an arrest/foot pursuit near the apartments. The APD did not say what the original arrest was for, and because the person arrested was a juvenile, it was unable to give more information.
This is a developing story. We will continue to post updates as we gather more information.
