Student Council To Host Howdy Week
From Monday, Aug. 27 to Friday, Aug. 31, Student Council will be encouraging students and teachers to participate in Howdy Week. Through dressing up, Westwood faculty and students will have the opportunity to express school, community, and national pride. The themes for each day are listed below:
Monday, Aug. 27: red, white and blue for national pride
Tuesday, Aug. 28: Western attire for state pride
Wednesday, Aug. 29: camo for pride in our military and first responders
Thursday, Aug. 30: college attire for pride in Texas teams
Friday, Aug. 31: orange, white and black for school pride
