On Thursday, Nov. 8, JV football took on the Cedar Ridge Raiders and lost the last game of the season 28-0. The Raiders started the game with a touchdown, and a two-point conversion.

“Being on football is very fun, it’s a lot of hard work and many early mornings,” Tomas Henry ‘21 said. “But when you see yourself improve it pays off.”

The Raiders started off the second quarter with another touchdown and two points. The Warriors tried to retaliate with Henry intercepting the ball and getting it to the 10-yard line, but before they could score a touchdown the quarter ended, and the score remained 16-0. For halftime entertainment, Warrior Pride danced on the field.

“Our team did good, and it was a lot of fun dancing on the football field; it was a new experience for us,” Claudia Indriago ‘21 said.

Cedar Ridge thought they scored the third touchdown, but after some debate it was decided that the team had gone out of bounds. Henry once again intercepted the ball and brought it near the goal, but neither team was able to score a touchdown.

“We worked hard throughout the season, but in the end it just wasn’t enough,” Lennon Aragon ‘21 said. “We got outworked so next year we need to work harder and do better.”

Despite the team’s best efforts to hold them back, the Raiders score another two touchdowns. The team got close to scoring a touchdown near the end, but were unable to. The final score was 28-0.

The team concludes the fall season with close games, but no wins produced.
