On Saturday Jan. 11, choir students auditioned for the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All State Choir after many months of preparation. The audition was held at Midway High School in Waco, Texas, with students from other regions all coming with the same intention of making it among the top vocalists. Out of the 12 students who auditioned, four earned a spot in one of the four All State Choirs in Texas, meaning that they have earned the highest rankings at the TMEA Area Competitions. They will be attending a three day All-State Clinic in San Antonio from Feb. 12 to Feb. 15 and will perform in the closing ceremony.
