Hosting a game night on Monday, Jan. 27, the South Asian Student Association (SASA) invited students to play nostalgic board games like Carrom, Ludo and Bingo, in an effort to win fun prizes like chocolate and sunglasses.
The SASA officers brought popular Indian snacks including Frootie, a type of mango juice, chocolate Bourbon cookies, and Kurkure, a crunchy Cheeto-like chip with various flavors like Masala Munch, Tomato, and Green Chutney. The attendees played Bingo in rounds of three until two winners yelled “Bingo!” with SASA Officer Sammy Gorapalli ‘25 calling out numbers. The first winner was Maggie Arora ‘27 who won a King Sized Hershey’s Chocolate Bar.
“With school starting back up, I feel like people are really stressed so I thought it would be a fun thing to do after school to relax and hang out with everyone,” SASA President Shrishti Mahajan ‘25 said.
