Seniors Mohan Hegde, Demetrius Jones, and junior Lynden Jones were arrested on March 14 in connection to an armed robbery at Texas State University on Feb. 20. The robbery occurred at the Bobcat Village Apartments. The University Police and Williamson County Sheriff’s Office identified the students and charged them with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony. All are former members of the varsity football team.

Witnesses say the suspects fled the scene in a blue SUV. No injuries were reported, and the University Police are still looking for a fourth suspect in the case.

Mr. Acosta and the coaches declined to comment.
