Five Fun Activities to Do in Fall

Five Fun Activities to Do in Fall
  1. Go to a pumpkin patch

Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls is the perfect place to visit if you are looking for a fun family outing. Along with picking pumpkins, you can stuff your own scarecrow, take a walk in the Texas-shaped corn maze, take a hayride, and much more! After all the activities, don’t forget to get some handmade treats. The pumpkin ice cream is highly recommended.

  1. Make a Jack O’Lantern

Whether you are artistic or not, carving pumpkins is an essential part of fall. Not only does it mean Halloween is near, it is a great activity to do with your family. After drawing your pumpkins face and carving it out, you will have all the seeds left over; just wash them off, salt them, and cook them for a great roasted seed snack.

  1. Go apple picking

There is nothing like tasting the sweet, fresh taste of an apple right off the tree. Just find the closest apple orchard to you and start picking. When you’re done, you can eat your apples or make an apple pie or a sweet caramel apple.

  1. Make your home smell like fall

Go to the nearest candle store and stock up on fall scents. Pumpkin, cinnamon, gingerbread, and citrus all add the crisp and spiced smells to leave your house feeling warm and cozy.

  1. Watch scary movies while drinking apple cider

Two in one! Cuddle up on the couch and get into the Halloween spirit by watching scary movies, like Halloween or Friday the 13th, with your friends. Apple cider is the unofficial drink of fall, and there is no better time to enjoy it than in the company of friends and movie monsters.
