RRISD Issues Late Start Amid Winter Weather
On Wednesday, Feb. 23 at 3:13 p.m., the Round Rock Independent School District (RRISD) announced the decision to delay classes and bus routes by two hours across the district on Thursday, Feb. 24 due to predicted weather conditions. With yet another winter weather advisory in place as sudden flurries of rain and freezing temperatures settle over the city once again, RRISD has made the decision as a safety precaution.
Classes will start at 11:05 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24. All after-school activities taking place after 7 p.m. on Wednesday and before school on Thursday have also been canceled.
