Outreach Club held a winter social on Friday, Dec. 9. Members came to enjoy food and compete in a gingerbread houses decorating contest. The event supported a local food drive, and members were encouraged to bring canned goods. The winter social was the first time members had an event where they could socialize together.

“I think the best part of the social was how we got to interact with other Outreach members. Most of the events we do at Outreach are [individual], do-at-home type of events, and this was a nice way to talk to other Outreach members,” Outreach Club member Sahiti Oruganti ‘25 said.

Outreach Club focuses on giving back to the community, providing members with opportunities to receive volunteering hours in the process.
“I believe that giving back to the community is important. Outreach provides students like us, in our busy lives to take some time and help others out,” Oruganti said.

Outreach Club’s next meeting will be held on Jan. 10.
