Varsity Boys Basketball Loses Grip Against Dragons 57-40
Grant Means ‘23 jumps for a point, making it past Vista Ridge’s defense.
On Tuesday, Jan. 24, the varsity boys basketball team lost 57-40 to the Round Rock Dragons. The game stayed relatively close throughout the first half, but the Warriors lost their grip on their defense in the second half, resulting in their loss.
After a buzzer-beater loss to Round Rock earlier in the season, the Warriors were eager to face off against them again to redeem themselves, but unfortunately, that was not the case.
“It was really disappointing. I was expecting it to be a much closer game,” Henry Chuo ‘23 said. “We just didn’t play as a team, we could have done much better.”
The Warriors will play next Friday, Jan. 27, at Cedar Ridge.
