As one of the most complicated stunts they perform, the Cheerleading team stacks on top of one another forming a pyramid with a Westwood ‘W’. “The pyramid was challenging because we had to put a lot of faith in each other to be able to throw Audri Moreno ‘27 high enough so she wouldn't hit Mia Zell ‘28 while flying over,” Cheerleader Jenna Hallidy ‘25 said. Although this new advanced routine heavily challenged the cheerleaders, they persevered to make the Pep Rally a success.

I am so excited to work on press this year and to help create the yearbook! I love writing stories and sharing them with people. When i’m not busy at school or band, I love reading and spending time with my friends.

Class of 2025 I’ve had a passion for writing and telling stories for as long as I can remember. I’m so excited to be a part of the Horizon and to help out with the Heritage. I love playing on my club soccer team, finding new piano music to play, and reading mysteries during my free time. I have a big interest in other cultures and countries and love to travel. One fun fact about me is that I’m bilingual and speak German at home. I’m really looking forward to being on student press again this year, especially as an editor!
