Homecoming Pep Rally Amplifies School Spirit

Excitement and energy flooded from the Homecoming parade and into the Homecoming Pep Rally at the Warrior Bowl on Wednesday, Oct. 11. 
Posing with their SunDancer partners, teachers beam after performing a hip-hop routine. Each SunDancer asked one of their past or current teachers to dance with them during the pep rally, choreographing many partner moves in the routine to create a fun and uplifting performance.

Musical mirth echoed out of the Field House gym at the second pep rally of the school year. Filled with a myriad of performances including a teacher lip-sync battle and a teacher dance, students and teachers alike showed their Westwood pride.
Singing the Alma Mater, the Cheer team brings the pep rally to a close. The cheer team performed a routine to a pop mash-up, and brought energy to the crowd.

The recognizable rustle of pom-poms and robust rumbles of the band playing the Westwood Fight song echoed throughout the hallways on Friday, Aug. 25 as students filed into the fieldhouse in anticipation of the first pep rally of the year. 
Advancing inwards on the ball, Jessica Lu 21 maneuvers her racket face in preparation to hit a short trajectory backhand slice shot. Lu is one of six tennis players to advance to the State tournament later this month.
