Wear Blue for Human Trafficking Prevention Month

Since January is Human Trafficking Prevention Month, Student Council is asking for school wide action to bring awareness to the cause and show solidarity for the victims. According to the International Labour Organization, there are still 40 million victims under the pain of human trafficking, and 300,000 in Texas alone. Student Council urges the student body to participate and wear blue on Jan. 24 to acknowledge the problem and help bring about change, even if it’s just small.
