Students To Participate in Melanoma Awareness Week
National Honor Society (NHS) members will be dedicating an entire week from Feb. 26 to March 2 for melanoma awareness in order to promote skin protection. The schedule for the week is listed below:
Monday: Students can apply sunscreen during their lunch and receive a cookie.
Tuesday: Students are allowed to wear a hat to promote the importance of protecting your skin from harmful UV rays.
Wednesday: Students can make their own black ribbon on the patio during lunch.
Thursday: Students can wear black to show support for the importance of Melanoma Awareness.
Friday: Students can dress up in outdoorsy gear to to celebrate sun protection as well as sign a poster pledge during their lunch.
