Project Graduation Displays Crashed Car
In an effort to promote safe driving during Prom night, Project Graduation set up a crashed car in the parking lot. The shocking display was put up after school on Thursday, April 11, however, the students first glimpse of it was in the early morning of Friday, April 12.
“I think that the display out front this morning was excessive because I feel like it causes more harm than it helps,” Mae Bruce ‘19 said. “They’re sending the wrong message, they should be informing students of services available to them, or have a speaker talk about it. No one’s going to care about a crashed car out front, teenagers are apathetic. There’d have to be something more concrete to actually make an impact.”
Be sure to drive safe the night of Prom.
