Ms. Erin Campbell Announced as New Principal

This upcoming school year will be Ms. Campbell’s sixth year serving Westwood.

Associate Principal Ms. Erin Campbell will serve as the new principal of Westwood High School. Ms. Campbell has served as associate principal since 2019. During this time, she led the campus equity task force. Prior to this, Ms. Campbell served as an assistant principal and the Advanced Placement (AP) Academics campus coordinator for Westwood. She has worked in education for 17 years, 12 of which she spent at Anderson High School in Austin ISD, first as a dance director, and later as an assistant principal.

Ms. Campbell was a student of Westwood High School herself and participated in activities such as SunDancers.

“I am looking forward to serving our amazing staff, students, and families in my new role as principal,” Ms. Campbell said in a statement to Round Rock ISD News. “As a proud alumnus of Westwood High School, it is an honor to lead our school on the path of continued excellence.”

Honestly, I wasnt even photographing it, I was just experiencing it,” Mr. Youn said. “You know, we built it up and the anticipation was incredibly high, but experiencing it was cooler than I anticipated.”

UT representative Patrick Patterson describes the importance of teaching kids to be academically honest from an early age. He was one of three UT representatives speaking at the academic integrity seminar on Thursday, March 22. What you have to do as a community is get together with the administration, Patterson said. Create your own honor code. Involve as many folks and kids and adults, as many as possible. Create that honor code and stick to it.
