The Warriors competed against Frisco for their first game of the season. The team won 25-5.

On Saturday, Feb. 11, the varsity men’s lacrosse team opened the 2023 lacrosse season, playing Frisco at the Warrior Bowl.

“[The varsity game] was very solid and [the team] had little to no mistakes throughout the entire game,” Zach Propes ‘25 said. “Overall, we played very well, only letting in five goals and scoring 25 [points].”

Varsity men’s lacrosse has been preparing for this opening game for weeks by practicing, participating in tournaments, and organizing scrimmages.

“We have been preparing by practicing six times a week for the past two months,” Vincent Fichet ‘25 said. “We also played a tournament and had a scrimmage before the opening game to hone our skills.”

The Warriors play Dripping Springs at the Warrior Bowl on Monday, Feb. 15, at 6:30 p.m., and JV plays immediately after at 8:30 p.m.
