This past weekend 72 Westwood Debate students competed in the TFA Tournament at Pflugerville High School, as well as the National Tournament of Champions Qualifier at Greenhill School in Dallas. Many returned home with victory, along with the trophies to prove it.
The Pflugerville tournament was different in some ways, as graduated Debate seniors came back to help out and critique the Westwood debate students.
“It was really fun to see the graduated seniors again this weekend. Their comments and coaching really helped, and made winning ever sweeter,” Niti Malwade ‘18 said.
