To encourage donations to their cause, Liu and her HOSA partner, Jenny Yun '25, created flyers, fundraisers, and social media accounts. Unaware he would emerge a hero that day, Chang had been volunteering with the EMS when he received a call from a concerned son, terrified that his father’s heart had stopped beating.
