"I'm very honored to be considered for any of these awards and publications," Li said. "None of it is guaranteed. You can be the greatest writer of all time and [not get an award] because art is inherently subjective."

"It's fun to watch them take off the mask and see the faces that they've made, and giggle a little to themselves, because they all turn out a little bit silly," Wong said.
