Posing with bright smiles, speech and debate competitors stand proudly as they display their array of trophies won at the Hendrickson Debate Tournament. The tournament not only gave seasoned, returning debaters another chance to showcase their talent, but was also the first opportunity offered to sophomore novices to try out a varsity level competition.

SPORTS
Defending against an assault against the Westlake Chaparrals Captain Cole Osborn '25 and Jett Henson '28 dive in front of the goal to keep the Chaparrals from gaining a lead on the Warriors. The Warriors fought hard but ended up losing the final game of the Ridgewood Rumble tournament to Westlake. "Our teams are the opposite and I am really proud we did so well" Captain Ben Meijers '25 said. "We have a lot of team play and a heavy focus on passing while they have a couple really stand out players who carry the game for them."
Arms raised, Katherine Mayer '25 attempts to steal the ball from the opposing team. Mayer's strong defensive skills would go on to solidify her team's victory.
Diving into the endzone to put the Warriors ahead of the Austin High Maroons, Xavion Sutton '25 leaps past the pylons scoring once again. As the back up running back the year before, Sutton looked to propel his offense forward. "You can't be reliant upon one player like we were last year," Coach Anthony Wood said. "We have been getting this group to where it is not just one guy, we've got six weapons ready to give their all."
Leaping up, Harper Zoll '25 hits a powerful block to the Hutto Hippos during the first set on Sept. 3. As outside and opposite hitter, Zoll contributed greatly to the game by participating in long rallies. "I had number two and number 10 on me, which were the two best players on their team. I was a little nervous, but I knew I had to do what was right for the team," Zoll said.
ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT
In the corner of the Field House gym, seniors Loy Bhowmick, Minsung Kim, Jonathan Simon, Zachary Petiprin, and fellow choir singers perform the alma mater before a volleyball game. The performance marked the conclusion of Choir Camp, uniting all choirs for the song.
