Thousands of AT&T users lost network connection on Thursday, Feb. 22. The outage ended later that afternoon. The greatest difficulty was trying to figure out what was going on, Mikayla Smith 25 said. When I realized the problem was out of my hands, I found it difficult to notify my non-tech savvy parents.

Color guard members smile at the crowd as they perform an opening dance feature in their show, Attention Earthlings. They performed the show on Saturday, Jan. 27, at the TCGC competition at Dripping Springs High School, where they placed tenth. I felt really good about it and the audience seemed to think the show was really fun,” captain Keira Humphries ‘24 said. “I was glad that they liked it so much.”

On Nov. 7, RRISD Proposition A was passed through a Voter Approved Tax Rate Election (VATRE). The proposition provides teachers and librarians with a 3% raise and other staff with a 2% raise. [Prop A] would come at little to no cost to taxpayers and could help staff get a raise, an anonymous faculty member said.

Annika Anand 24, Sritanvee Alluri 24, and Anannya Sathaye 24 write letters to their future selves at Senior Sunrise. At the event, students hung out with friends while watching the sunrise, eating snacks, and writing their letters. I liked the idea that you write little letters for yourself and then you get it back at the end of the year, Sritanvee Alluri 24 said.
